AOC TOURAINE
WINES OF THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS
A Left Bank vineyard
The Domaine's vines stretch over the southern slopes which overlook the cher.
Clay-limestone soils suitable for vines
The " Aubuis" on the hillside rest on the tufa. These are rich clay-limestone soils in coarse and very healthy elements.
The " Perruches" (flint clays) on the slopes bordering the Cher valley, very stony.
The " Bournais perrucheux" , intermediate soils sufficiently rich in pebbles for good drainage.
A climate with oceanic influences
The natural link of the river opens its wide valley to oceanic influences and allows the region to bathe in a gentle permanent, without sudden changes in temperature.
